Welcome to the website for the fourth volume of the Handbook of Science and Technology Studies, the handbook of the Society for Social Studies of Science.
The first volume was edited by Ina Spiegel Rosing and Derek de Solla Price and published by Sage in 1977 under the title Science, Technology & Society: A Cross-Disciplinary Perspective.
The second volume of the handbook was edited by Sheila Jasanoff, Gerald Markle, James Peterson, and Trevor Pinch and published by Sage in 1995.
The third volume of the handbook was edited by Ed Hackett, Olga Amsterdamska, Michael Lynch, and Judy Wacjman and published by MIT Press in 2007.
We hope that you will look closely at the call for proposals and consider submitting a proposal for the volume, which we aim to publish in 2016. Please check back often.
